Slot missions are a great method to earn gear weapons, equipment and more. They're hard to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot
The concealed weapon slot is a special slot that allows you to bring guns into a mission. Some players utilize this slot to achieve certain goals, especially those going for Suit Only. Others prefer to have the additional pistol to make an extra weapon to close the gap. It is important to remember that to choose the pistols for this slot you must click on the button to select the appropriate category, for example, alternate slot 2 machine guns. Being able to have Major Expedition and Adept Rider on makes it simpler. This combo will add a damage tick every 10 seconds from the concealed Weapon in the event that it is in the slot.
Smuggled Item Slot
The smuggled item slot an excellent option for allowing players to bring tools and weapons, but it could be improved with a better opportunity. It's currently shaped like an a gun, which makes it hard to distinguish the smuggled items slot from other slots in the gear.
The smuggle slot can hold many different items, from subtle concussion devices, to weapons-grade explosives. These items can be found in a variety of hidden locations throughout the map. They can also be found any time. Smuggled items are different from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes which hide only small objects hidden in the scenery and objects.
Mission planning is a feature that is available in episodic missions that allows players to gain access to different starting points, smuggled items and gear slots ahead of their entry into the map. These options for planning expand as players complete challenges and obtain higher Mission Mastery levels. This gives players the ability to create the perfect mission for every difficulty.
Gear Slot
Early on in the game players will find their gear slots become full, resulting in the frequently-repeated "Your Gear Slots are full" message, which blocks Max from selecting new equipment until the old items are cleared or more space is found. The solution to this problem is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which offer more inventory space in exchange for fulfilling challenges. However, since the majority of these challenges are scattered throughout the world and can be missed, it can take a long time to acquire the maximum number of inventory slots that are available in the game.
A player's five Gear Slots can be filled with up to five different types of gear, which must be selected from the Gear Selection menu before a Break-In can begin. Each individual gear item (except the Pistol) occupies one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like a group of Grenades of the same type) only uses one Gear Slot.

As you progress through Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups throughout the map. These locations allow you to keep items that aren't suitable in your concealed weapon or gear slot, and get them back later.
These pickups are particularly useful if you have to go through a frisk at the end of the course of your mission or if you're carrying a weapon that might otherwise cause suspicion. You can only conceal one item in a pickup location.
This DLC adds new contracts to security and asset protection to the agency. Contact the receptionist at the agency and stock up on snacks and armor. Once you have reached the mission marker you can identify a crowd when you arrive.
